Jason Barlow

Head Coach / OC / WR&DBs

Coach Jay brings over 13 years of experience to the Austin Outlaws, combining his background as a U.S. Marine with a deep passion for teaching and developing athletes. As Head Coach, Jay is focused on ensuring every Outlaw improves each time they step on the field. His mission is for players to not only become better athletes, but to walk away having learned something new every practice.

Outside of football, Coach Jay enjoys playing video games as a way to relax and recharge.

Lily Messina

Coach Lily brings 25 years of experience and leadership to the Austin Outlaws, balancing a dynamic career as Associate Vice President of Project Management with Mr. Cooper Group. A lifelong fan of the sport, Lily jumped at the opportunity to play as soon as it became available for women and has been deeply involved ever since.

With a vision for the Outlaws’ future, Coach Lily is committed to leading the team to a Division II championship and advancing to the WFA Pro level. Beyond the field, she is passionate about fostering the organization’s growth in every aspect, ensuring a thriving community for players and supporters alike.

Outside of board responsibilities, Lily enjoys spending time with her dogs, Olympic weightlifting, and bow hunting. She also loves watching movies and staying active by working out on her property in the Hill Country.

Ashley Brackett

Asst. OL Coach

Coach Brackett brings a strong background in the fire service and four years of dedication to the Austin Outlaws. In 2021, Brackett joined the team as a player, drawn to the camaraderie and family atmosphere that sports had always provided. From the moment she found the Outlaws, she knew it was the perfect fit and has been committed to the team ever since.

Brackett is passionate about strengthening the Outlaws both on and off the field, helping the organization grow while fostering the tight-knit team culture that makes it special.

Outside of football, Brackett is a proud nerd who enjoys reading books, playing video games, and working on leathercraft.

Tony Collodora

Board Treasurer

Tony has been a dedicated supporter of the Austin Outlaws since 2007, starting as a game day volunteer before joining the Board of Directors in 2017 when the team became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. His background is in corporate and supply chain Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and he is a licensed Texas CPA.

Tony first got involved with the Outlaws through co-ed softball, where he met Lily and was introduced to the team. Over the years, he’s remained committed to helping the organization grow, focusing on financial sustainability and increasing awareness of the Outlaws and the WFA. His goal is to support the team’s long-term success while allowing the coaches and players to focus on winning a championship.

Outside of the Outlaws, Tony stays busy working full-time and coaching his two daughters' youth soccer teams. He also enjoys exploring National and State Parks, always looking for the next great camping or hiking adventure.

jennifer Chancellor-hurd

Board Secretary

Jennifer Chancellor-Hurd has been a dedicated member of the Austin Outlaws for over a decade, first joining as a player in 2012 and 2013, where she took the field as a cornerback and linebacker wearing #11. She quickly stepped into leadership roles, serving as Fundraising Director from 2012 to 2014 and returning to the Board as Secretary in 2019.

Jennifer’s passion for the sport runs deep—she played flag football for six years in Rhode Island after college and even tried to convince her high school to start a girls' tackle football team. Her involvement doesn’t stop at the sidelines, as she sees the team as family and is dedicated to its continued success. She is also a strong advocate for women and girls in sports, actively supporting Austin’s emerging Women in Sports Coalition.

Professionally, Jennifer is a manager for the State of Texas Health and Human Services Commission, working to ensure Texans with disabilities receive quality services. She also serves as President of the HHS Leadership Alumni Association and is involved with Executive Women in Texas Government.

Jennifer’s goals for the Outlaws include increasing awareness and marketing efforts to showcase the team’s talent, as well as boosting fundraising to ease the financial burden on players. Her ultimate vision is to see a future where not only do players no longer have to pay to play, but where they are paid to play the sport they love.
